About voxnoto
voxnoto turns conversations into text. Calls, meetings, interviews and lectures become a transcript you can read and search, or a short summary you can act on. This page explains how it works, what happens to your recordings, and who is behind it.
What voxnoto is
voxnoto is an AI note taker that runs in your browser. You give it a conversation: a file, a live call, or something you record on the spot. It gives you back text. No app to install, on a laptop or a phone.
It recognizes speech in 99 languages. You can export everything as TXT, or as SRT subtitles for video.
Why we built it
You can either listen or write.
Every one of us has sat in a meeting typing notes and realised we'd stopped following the conversation. Afterwards the notes were still incomplete, and the recording was too long to rewatch.
So we built the tool we wanted: you talk, it writes. Nothing to set up, no new habits to learn. The goal isn't to add another app to your day. It's to take one job off your plate.
How it works
There are three ways to get a conversation into voxnoto:
- Upload a file. Any audio or video up to 8 hours: MP3, MP4, WAV, MOV and more.
- Record in your browser. For meetings in a room, lectures or voice notes. Works on a laptop and a phone.
- Send the meeting bot. Paste a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet link and the bot joins the call as a visible participant.
A few minutes later you get a transcript split by speaker, and a summary with the key points. From there you can translate, export or share it.
