U.S. State Privacy Notice

This U.S. State Privacy Notice supplements the Voxnoto Privacy Policy and applies only where a U.S. state privacy law applies to Voxnoto UAB and to the relevant individual or processing activity.
Nothing in this Notice is intended to represent that a particular U.S. state privacy statute applies where its statutory applicability thresholds or other requirements are not met.

2. Categories of Personal Information
Depending on how a person uses Voxnoto, we may process:

The categories actually processed depend on the user's actions and enabled features.
3. Sources
We may receive personal information:
- directly from users;
- from business customers that submit Customer Data;
- from meeting participants through recorded audio;
- from authentication or integration providers chosen by the user;
- from payment processors;
- automatically from browsers/devices;
- from analytics and advertising providers where permitted; and
- from support communications.
4. Purposes
We use personal information to:
- provide and maintain the Service;
- authenticate users;
- process recordings and transcripts;
- provide summaries and translations;
- provide meeting and integration functionality;
- process payments and refunds;
- secure accounts and prevent abuse;
- provide support;
- comply with legal obligations;
- improve reliability and product functionality; and
- conduct analytics or advertising where permitted.

5. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Voxnoto does not sell personal information for monetary payment.
Where applicable law defines the disclosure of identifiers or online activity to advertising providers as “sale,” “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a similar regulated activity, Voxnoto's use of technologies such as Google Ads or Meta Pixel may fall within that definition.
Where legally required, users may opt out through the Voxnoto cookie/privacy controls.
Voxnoto does not sell or share uploaded audio, video, transcripts, or Google Workspace API user data for advertising.
6. Google User Data
Information obtained from Google APIs is handled under the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Limited Use requirements.
Google Calendar data is not sold, shared for advertising, transferred to advertising platforms, or used to train general-purpose AI models.
7. Sensitive Personal Information
Voxnoto uses sensitive personal information only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, or comply with legal requirements concerning the Service, unless another legally permitted purpose and required notice/choice applies.
Users should not submit regulated or highly sensitive information unless they are legally authorized to do so and any additional required safeguards have been established.
8. Retention
Uploaded User Content is generally retained until the user deletes it or deletes the account.
Following deletion, data is removed from active production systems subject to technical processing time and may remain in backups for up to 30 days.
Billing, tax, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records may be retained for longer where necessary or required.
9. Rights
Where an applicable U.S. state privacy law provides the right, an eligible resident may be able to request:
- confirmation whether Voxnoto processes personal information;
- access;
- correction;
- deletion;
- portability;
- information concerning categories of processing or disclosure;
- opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising;
- limitation of certain sensitive-information uses; or
- appeal of a privacy-request decision.
The exact rights depend on the applicable state law and circumstances.
10. Exercising Rights

Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits, subject to legally permitted verification.
11. Global Privacy Control
Where applicable law requires recognition of a browser-based opt-out preference signal, Voxnoto will process a legally recognized signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), in accordance with that law for the relevant browser or device.
12. Non-Discrimination
Where applicable law provides such protection, Voxnoto will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising a privacy right.
Different service levels or prices that are unrelated to the exercise of privacy rights, such as Free and Premium plans, do not by themselves constitute unlawful discrimination.
13. Appeals
Where applicable state law provides a right to appeal a denied privacy request, instructions for submitting the appeal will be provided with Voxnoto's response.
