Podcast transcription, subtitles and show notes
Upload an episode and get the text, the subtitles and a summary you can turn into show notes and posts.

Podcast transcription turns a finished episode into text you can publish, caption and cut into posts. Upload the audio or video, and voxnoto returns the full transcript split by speaker, a summary for your show notes, and subtitles you can attach to the video version.
Sound familiar?
Subtitles take longer to make than the episode took to record.
Show notes are always the last job, and they show it.
The best line of the episode is buried at minute forty-one, where nobody will find it.
How voxnoto helps
Upload the episode, audio or video, up to 8 hours.
Get the transcript with speakers, plus a summary of what was covered.
Export SRT subtitles, publish the transcript, and pull quotes for posts.

What a transcript is worth to a podcast
A page that can be found. Audio is invisible to search engines. A published transcript makes every topic, name and term in the episode findable, and it is the cheapest organic traffic a show can get.
Subtitles. Most social video is watched with the sound off. An SRT file is the difference between a clip that gets watched and one that gets scrolled past.
Show notes without the chore. The summary gives you the topics and the order they came in. Editing that into notes takes minutes instead of an evening.
Material for everything else. One episode holds a newsletter, several quote posts and a blog article. All of it starts from the text.
How to get a clean transcript from an episode
Upload the edited version. Transcribe what you published, not the raw tape, so the text matches the audio your listeners hear.
Give names once. Rename each speaker in the transcript and the name applies throughout, useful for shows with rotating guests.
Spell the hard words. Product names, company names and jargon are what transcription gets wrong. Fix them once in the transcript before you publish it.
Turning one episode into a week of content
- Publish the transcript on the episode page, under the player.
- Export SRT and attach it to the video version and to every clip.
- Take three quotes from the transcript for social posts, with timestamps so people can hear them.
- Rework the summary into the newsletter that announces the episode.
- Translate the transcript if your audience isn't only English-speaking.
For interview shows
Send guests the transcript after recording. It's a courtesy that costs nothing, and it catches misheard names and figures before they reach the published version.
If you record remote interviews on Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, send the bot to the call instead of exporting the recording afterwards.
