User research transcription you can search
Every customer interview, written down and quotable, so findings rest on what people said, not on what you remember.

User research transcription turns each session into a searchable record you can code, quote and share. Send the bot to the call or record in the room, and voxnoto returns the transcript split by speaker with a summary of what came up.
Sound familiar?
Taking notes during a session breaks the rapport you spent ten minutes building.
The insight lives in one researcher's head, and the team hears a paraphrase of a paraphrase.
Finding the moment a user said "I gave up here" means rewatching five sessions.
How voxnoto helps
Send the bot to the Zoom, Teams or Google Meet session, or record in person in your browser.
Run the session properly, watch the user, follow what they do, ask the follow-up.
Search the transcripts, pull the quotes, and share the summary with the team.

What transcripts change in research
Evidence instead of recollection. A finding backed by three verbatim quotes survives a stakeholder meeting. A finding backed by "users seemed confused" does not.
Analysis across sessions. Searching ten transcripts for the same phrase takes a minute and shows whether one person struggled or everyone did.
Shared raw material. A designer, a PM and an engineer reading the same transcript notice different things. A summary written by one person shows only what that person noticed.
A record that outlives the project. Next year, when the same question comes up, the sessions are still there and still searchable.
Which recording method fits your sessions
Remote sessions. Send the bot to Zoom, Teams or Google Meet. Participants see it in the list, so recording is never a surprise.
In-person and field research. Open voxnoto in your phone's browser and record. Put the phone between you and the participant, away from the laptop fan.
Sessions recorded elsewhere. Usability tools and old studies export audio or video, upload the file, up to 8 hours.
From transcripts to findings
- Read the summary of each session the same day, while you still remember the room.
- Tag the transcripts against your research questions, not against your expectations.
- Pull verbatim quotes for each finding, at least two, from different participants.
- Share the quotes with the team, and keep the transcripts where anyone can search them.
Participants, consent and personal data
Ask for permission at the start of the session and record the answer. Explain what you'll do with the recording, who will see it, and when it will be deleted. In the EU a session recording is personal data, so this is a requirement, not a nicety.
Recordings are private by default: only the account holder can open them. Share quotes and summaries rather than raw recordings, and remove personal details from anything that circulates widely.
Research in more than one language
voxnoto transcribes 99 languages and translates transcripts, so a study can run in several markets and still be analysed by one team.
Quote from the original language in the report, with the translation alongside. A translated quote reads smoothly and loses exactly the hesitation you were trying to show.
